There are currently two types of FamilyTimePlanner calendars, each for specific, complementary purposes.
Family Calendars are meant for families. Club Calendars are designed for small, interconnected groups.
Family calendars can 'join' the other calendars and have the other calendar's events appear on their calendars. It
is also possible to add a club event to a Family calendar with just a few clicks. Likewise, hiding club events is
just a couple of clicks away. And this can be done without 'quitting' the club.

To see how Club Calendars work, join the "U.S. Holiday" Club.
You'll be able to see the holidays appear on your calendar, as well as to try
importing a holiday into your calendar and assigning a family member,
thereby assigning the highlight color for that family member. And to hide
the holidays, just click the "Filter" and uncheck the U.S. Holidays box. |
Once you've created your calendar, how much customization you want is up to
you. We recommend:
 | Add Family Members and assign their own unique colors.

| Add events (practices, recitals, field trips, etc.) for each family
member.

| Add Event Categories that fit your family's needs.

| "Join" Clubs or create Club calendars for others to join!
